Now, before I go any farther, if you’re thinking about using these tools to create fake testimonial videos and actually use them to promote your services… DON’T.
Seriously, DO NOT do that.
I’m not going to go into why you shouldn’t because you should already know.
The reason I’m doing it here, is to show you where AI is headed.
Right now, at the time of writing this, the AI is pretty good. It’s not perfect, but it won’t take long before what you see and read will be hard to tell the real from the fake.
All that being said, this was pretty cool (and fun) to create.
It just took a few still photos, and two different AI tools to do it.
One tool animates the photos and the other can alter voices.
When you put it all together, you get something that is pretty close to passable.
Most people will be able to tell it’s fake, but by the time I get to the third version, it gets better and better.
It’s kinda scary and a bit creepy too.
