When it comes to the best converting testimonial video, there are a few things we’ve gotta dive into.

The first is…

When we’re talking about conversions here, we’re talking about getting someone to take the action you want them to.

Whether it’s collecting email addresses, scheduling a sales call, or getting a lead to pay you.

Whatever action you want someone to take is what we’re considering a conversion here.

The second thing we have to dive into is…

How much can testimonial videos help conversions?

Well, it’ll be different for each business, offer, landing page, or wherever you want to use the videos.

For my clients, I’ve seen increased conversions range from 20% to over 90%.

That’s just by using…

The testimonial videos that were done for them.

They changed nothing about how they set up their pages or offers, other then adding testimonial videos to the mix.

And they made a BIG difference in conversions.

So you’re definitely gonna want to use testimonial videos with what you’re doing.

The interesting thing is…

A lot of businesses don’t even think to use them when they’re trying to get someone to take an action.

They just throw them on a testimonial page.

Which is a good thing to do.

But if you want to grow your business…

You’ll want to include these anywhere you have some sort of call to action (CTA).

Now, that being said…

What is the best converting testimonial video to use?

As usual, it depends on what you’re trying to do but…

The one I found that tends to convert the best is NOT your normal testimonial video.

You know the one I’m talking about.

The one where a client is talkin’ all about the results they got with you.

Of course, those can and will convert very well, but the one we’re talking about is what I like to call the…

Who is video.

If you’re not familiar with this type of video, it’s basically a compilation video of your clients talking about who you or your employees are.

And it’s not them talking about how great you are at what you do…

It’s them talking about who you or your team are as people.

Or as human beings.

Here’s an example…

This is such a different type of video from what people are used to seeing and that’s why it’s so powerful.

And since so much has moved online over the past decade, people’s trust levels in what they see online continue to shrink.

But when you add a “who is” video where clients or customers talk about the human side of who you or your team are…

That’s REALLY different.

It allows the viewers to connect at a much deeper level with you right from the start.

And the fact that it’s the clients doing the talking, and not you, only magnifies the power of this video.

This type of video…

Takes the lack of trust that most people have when seeing something online, and flips it on its head.

When people watch the who is video, it makes them feel as if they already know who you are.

They don’t question if what you’re providing is a scam.

They don’t question if you care for them.

And they don’t question whether or not you are a real person.

On top of that…

It eliminates a TON of the usual objections that people may have.

All because this video creates a level of trust that very few other videos can do.

And there’s one other side benefit of this video

You’ll learn so much about how your customers or clients view who you or your team are.

And it’ll hit you pretty heavily.

Whenever I create one of these types of videos for my clients, they end up getting emotional watching it.

A lot of times they cry. And so do their family members.

It’s that powerful.

So as much as the “usual type” of testimonial videos are important…

Start thinking about creating a “who is” video.

Because in the end, there’s a good chance this will be the best converting testimonial video you have.
