Let’s talk a bit about having a dedicated testimonial video page.
Should you really have one or not?
Well, let’s just put it this way…
In the video above, you’ll see the explanation as to why, but let’s break that down a bit.
The first reason you want a dedicated page is it acts as a place to put your testimonial videos.
A depository of sorts.
That’s because you’d be surprised how many people have testimonial videos but don’t use them or put them anywhere.
Having a place to put them besides Youtube, acts as a reminder to add them somewhere for people to see.
Now, I do add images, and text testimonials to my page as well, and you can do that too.
So it’s not necessarily a dedicated video page when you do that, but it’s not going to hurt it.
The key is that the focus is on the videos.
The second reason you want a page like this is…
Because of its flexibility.
Doing this makes your life…
A whole lot simpler.
That’s because now you can do a ton of different things with that page.
For example, if you have an ebook, add the cover image, headline, and a place for people to enter their contact to the top of that duplicated page.
By doing this, you now have a lead page or place for people to give you their contact info.
And, you already have a ton of built-in social proof for people to see.
Which means there was no extra work to do.
Not only that…
You can also duplicate the dedicated testimonial video page and turn it into a sales page.
Simply add sales copy, images, a headline, and a place for people to take action.
The social proof is already there.
The same can be done for…
Appointment pages.
Etc.
Once you duplicate that page, it can be used in so many different ways.
All of that being said…
It’s important to make sure you still have one dedicated page for social proof.
That’s because that one dedicated page should be linked from your home page, or placed in the menu on that page.
You not only want to have a place to add your testimonial videos and other social proof, but also a place you can use if you want to send prospects if they’re skeptical.
So you want to make it easy for people to access the page.
Oh, and a quick side note…
Definitely make sure you have a call to action on the testimonial video page.
Most times business owners don’t do that, and it only hurts them.
So sprinkle a few places for people to take an action on your page.
Hopefully, you can see why having a dedicated testimonial video page can be so important.
The flexibility, the simplicity, and the amount of time it can save you are massive.
In fact, it’s one of the main pages I use for people to see proof of what testimonial videos can do for their business.
So if you don’t have a page, think about creating one.
